Rainforests cover approximately 6% of the Earth's land surface, which is equivalent to about 2.7 million square miles or 7 million square kilometers. The largest rainforest in the world is the Amazon Rainforest in South America, which spans across multiple countries and covers approximately 2.1 million square miles or 5.5 million square kilometers. **

Rainforests are particularly threatened due to deforestation, primarily driven by activities such as logging, agriculture, and mining. The high demand for timber, land for agriculture, and resources like oil and minerals has led to widespread clearing of rainforest areas. Additionally, climate change, illegal hunting, and unsustainable development practices also contribute to the threat facing rainforests. These activities disrupt the delicate balance of ecosystems within rainforests, leading to habitat loss, biodiversity loss, and ultimately endangering the survival of many plant and animal species that call these forests home. **

The largest rainforests are located in the Amazon Basin in South America, the Congo Basin in Africa, and Southeast Asia. **

There are no tropical rainforests in Antarctica and Europe. **

Agroforestry can be a sustainable use of tropical rainforests if implemented correctly. By integrating trees with agricultural crops or livestock, agroforestry can help maintain biodiversity, improve soil health, and provide additional sources of income for local communities. However, if not managed properly, agroforestry systems can still contribute to deforestation and habitat loss. It is important to consider factors such as species selection, land tenure rights, and community involvement to ensure that agroforestry practices in tropical rainforests are truly sustainable. **

Tropical rainforests are located near the equator, primarily in Central and South America, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Islands. They cover approximately 6-7% of the Earth's land surface, with the largest tropical rainforest being the Amazon Rainforest in South America. These ecosystems are characterized by high levels of biodiversity and receive abundant rainfall throughout the year. **

Deforestation of tropical rainforests has several negative impacts. Firstly, it leads to loss of biodiversity as many unique species of plants and animals are unable to survive in other habitats. Secondly, it contributes to climate change as trees store carbon dioxide and their removal releases it into the atmosphere. Additionally, deforestation can lead to soil erosion, loss of livelihoods for indigenous communities, and disruption of water cycles. Overall, the destruction of tropical rainforests has far-reaching and long-term consequences for both the environment and human societies. **

A prime lens with a focal length between 35mm and 50mm is typically considered suitable for street photography. These lenses offer a natural field of view that closely resembles what the human eye sees, making them great for capturing candid moments in urban environments. Additionally, prime lenses are often compact and lightweight, which is ideal for street photographers who need to move quickly and discreetly. Overall, a 35mm or 50mm prime lens is a popular choice among street photographers for its versatility and ability to capture authentic moments. **
